Christopher Michael Huellen
Christopher Michael Huellen, 36, of Saxonburg, and formerly of Slippery Rock, passed away in Elizabeth Township, Allegheny County on Jan. 20, 2021.
He was the son of Howard George Huellen and Christine Chiocca Huellen.
He was a Union Carpenter by trade and worked in general construction as well as on concrete recasting molds used in highway construction and to construct stairways.
He was currently taking pilot lessons to be certified to fly commercial airlines.
Christopher loved spending time with his children. He enjoyed fishing and restoring to health his pet homing pigeon, whom he recently saved.
Survivors include his children, Olivia Mochar, Julian Huellen and Josephine Huellen of Elizabeth Township, and Olivia Huellen and Niko Huellen of Center Township; his parents, Howie and Christine Huellen of Saxonburg; and his siblings, Jim McCrea of Mars, Elijah Huellen of Bethel Park, Jake Huellen of Saxonburg, Niki Huellen Uncapher of Saxonburg, Sierra Huellen of Brookline, Pa., and Cheyenne Huellen of Saxonburg.
HUELLEN — The family of Christopher Michael Huellen, who died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2021, will observe a private gathering Saturday, Jan. 23, 2021, at Smith Funeral Home, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock.A public memorial service will likely take place at a later time when more people may safely gather.
