Mars Area High School French Club has named the winners of its inaugural Crêpe Competition.

Junior Audrey Gehm was selected for Best Dessert Crêpe Plating, senior Carly King for Best Savory Crêpe Plating and senior Hannah Miller for the Best Crêpe Resembling the Planet Mars.

Freshman Trevin Hammerbeck won Best Crêpe Flip, as seen on youtu.be/t_w1wWaDjIA.

The competition, held in celebration of Crêpe Day on Feb. 2 and Mardi Gras, asked participants to make crêpes at home and to share pictures and videos via TikTok, Twitter and Instagram using the hashtags #planetpolyglots and #marsarea.

Each winner will receive a gift card to La Gourmandine, in Pittsburgh, sponsored by the French Club.
