Pamela G. Chapple
Pamela G. Chapple, 77, of Valencia, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021, at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township.
Born April 19, 1943, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Austin and Helen Ruda Graham.
In the 1970s, Pam was the director of special events for Kaufmann’s Department Store in Pittsburgh, where she developed many personal contacts throughout the city.
For many years, she was an active member of the Twentieth Century Club, and for a number of years, had the honor of serving as its president.
She was an avid reader, active in politics, had an eye for a good deal and unique fashion and was always dressed for the occasion. She loved orchids and her cats, and of course the love of her life, her husband, Ben, who valiantly stood by her side after she became physically limited. Despite her limitations, she never lost her dignity, her infectious smile or her love of life.
Surviving are her husband and best friend, Bennett Chapple; her brother, Richard Graham and his wife, Karen, of Apollo; her stepsons, Ben Chapple Jr. and his wife, Sharon, of Dallas, Texas and Todd Chapple and his wife Kathy, of Highlands Ranch, Colo.; and her grandchildren, Bennett, Henry, Hannah, William, Oliver, and Caitlin and her husband, Sean Flaherty.
CHAPPLE — Friends of Pamela G. Chapple, who died Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021, are invited to a service to be held at 2 p.m. Monday at McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.
