Maryellen Natili

Maryellen F. “Sparkey” Natili, 75, of Butler, passed away on Jan. 17, 2021, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Maryellen was born March 6, 1945, in Pittsburgh. She was the daughter of the late Bernard Zinkand and the late Margaret Cramer.

Maryellen worked at Montgomery Ward in the cash office, and at Giant Eagle in the cash office. She also worked at J.C. Penney as a seamstress, was a teller at National City Bank and a secretary at Chapman Mobile Home Moving.

Maryellen enjoyed cross-stitching, crocheting, baking, crossword puzzles and decorating. She liked watching the Steelers and the Pirates. Maryellen enjoyed watching “Blue Bloods” and “N.C.I.S.” She adored lighthouses.

Maryellen is survived by her husband, Robert J. Natili Sr., whom she married Aug. 26, 1967, at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church; two sons, Robert J. (Joyce) Natili of Butler and Thomas (Melissa) Natili of Butler; four grandchildren, Sydney Natili, Robert Natili III, Luke Natili and Abigail Natili; two brothers, Kenneth Zinkand of Allentown and Timothy Zinkand of Pittsburgh; one sister, Alayne “Snook” (Mike) McDermott of Kittanning; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Marty Zinkand.

NATILI — Friends of Maryellen F. “Sparkey” Natili, who died Sunday, Jan. 17, 2021, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday with a blessing service to follow at 8 p.m. at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.

Due to COVID-19 state guidelines, visitors are required to supply and wear a facial mask and adhere to social distancing. Groups are limited to 25 people inside.

Entombment will take place in Calvary Cemetery.
