Edward P. Double, 70, of East Brady died Friday, Jan. 15, 2021, at ACMH Hospital.

Born in Butler, Ed was the son of Thomas Everett and Ida Josephine Double.

Ed was a graduate of East Brady High School, and he was employed by Castle Rubber in East Butler for over 30 years.

On July 28, 1991, Ed married Norma F. (Barger) Adams. She preceded him in death on Jan. 22, 2014.

He was a member of the Petroleum Valley Lions Club, and he clowned with them for many years.

Ed resided in the Allegheny Hills Apartments in East Brady and he will be sorely missed by his friends.

He is survived by three brothers; William and wife, Janie Double, Harold and wife, Ethel Double and Vince and wife, Cindy Double; and one sister, Donna and husband, Michael Callihan.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Norma; and one brother, James.

Double — A Memorial Service for Edward P. Double, who died Friday, Jan. 15, 2021, will be held at a later date.

He will be buried at St. Patrick Cemetery, Sugarcreek Township.

Arrangements are under the direction of Buechele Funeral Home and Cremation Services, East Brady.

The Double family asks that memorial donations be made in Ed’s name to Allegheny Hills, 421 Kellys Way East Brady, PA 16028.
