Daniel D. Skelley Jr.

Daniel D. Skelley Jr., 83, of Saxonburg passed away on Jan. 14, 2021, at the Orchards of Saxonburg.

Born Oct. 30, 1937, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Daniel Douglas Skelley and Alice Barker Skelley Dawson.

Dan served in the U.S. Navy.

Dan had worked as a maintenance man for Armstrong Cement.

He was a member of Saxonburg Fire Police, Happy Hunters, Buffalo Valley Sportsmen's Club, the Butler Elks 170 and Harrisville American Legion Post 852.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing, pitching horseshoes, and playing Santa.

Surviving are his son, Daniel D. (Jeanette) Skelley of Fairmont, W.Va.; his daughter, Debra Fleske of Grove City; one sister, Joanne (Buck) Herbe-Majors of Harmony; his girlfriend, Millie Waybright of Zelienople; two grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Jean Gillespie; one brother, Henry Skelley; and one son, Richard Skelley.

SKELLEY — There will be no visitation or services for Daniel D.
