Laurie Beth Wojton
Laurie Beth Wojton, 49, of Ford City, formerly of Butler, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 10, 2021.
Born March 21, 1971, she was the daughter of Jeffrey H. Wilhelm and Sharon M. (Erwin) Wilhelm of Butler.
After high school, Laurie attended the Pittsburgh Beauty Academy, and then owned and operated her own hair salon for several years.
As a youth, she loved to dance. She was a 1989 semifinalist in the Miss Butler County USA Beauty Pageant.
She enjoyed art and reading. She had an amazing sense of humor and always seemed to be smiling.
She worked at a group home for adults with developmental disabilities in Kittanning.
She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Laurie leaves her husband, James Wojton of Ford City; her son, Levi Cetti of Herman; her grandchildren, Konnor and Kaleb; her sisters, Jennifer M. (Aaron) Simmer of Slippery Rock, and Rebecca (Brian) Porter of Butler; her nieces and a nephew, Myah, Payge, Rylee and Grayson; and her maternal grandmother, Mildred Erwin of Butler.
WOJTON — A memorial service for Laurie Beth Wojton, who died Sunday, Jan. 10, 2021, will be held for the family at Boylan Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Connoquenessing Township, Renfrew, with Pastor Reid Moon officiating.
Laurie will be laid to rest at Butler County Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Laurie’s memory to the donor’s favorite charity.
