James D. Endlich
James D. Endlich, 87, of Winfield Township passed away peacefully on Sunday, Jan. 10, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born June 12, 1933, in New Kensington, and was a son of the late Kenneth and Mary (Deisroth) Endlich.
Jim was a veteran of the Korean War, having served in the U.S. Marine Corps.He graduated from Shippensburg College, with a Bachelor of Science degree in education.Jim retired after 30 years of teaching from the Pine Richland School District.He was a former member of Guardian Angels Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Natrona Heights, and was a member of St. Joseph R.C. Church in Cabot.He was also a member of the Tarentum Homing Club, the Central Beagle Club and the Pucketos Beagle Club.Jim enjoyed training beagles.He was survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary Louise (Cafferty) Endlich.He is survived by his children, James (Alexis) Endlich of Lower Burrell, Cindy (Ralph) Hazelett of Natrona Heights, Kim (Gary) Cochran of Lower Burrell, Tom (Cherie) Endlich of Upper Burrell, Anne (Scott) McCormick of Sarver, and Mike Endlich (Autumn Norris) of Winfield Township.He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jessica (Mark) Winkler, Jim (Morgan) Endlich, Craig Hazelett, Brandon Cochran, Kylie (Josh) Shields, Justin Cochran, Ethan (Hannah) McCormick, Marshall McCormick and Adda McCormick (Brayden Thomas); 10 great-grandchildren; his brother, Patrick (Patricia) Endlich of Natrona Heights; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his sister, Nanette Toth; his brother, Glenn Endlich; and his nephew, Harry Toth.The Endlich family would like to give a special thank you to Chrissy and Krystal, for their loving care and support.ENDLICH — Friends of James D.
