ADAMS TWP — Supervisors approved several items Monday night, including:
- Tabling review of park shelter bid specifications
- A change order for eight hours of grading at a rate of $160 per hour for A. Liberoni Inc.
- A $35,088 bond release for A. Liberoni Inc.
- A $475,193 bond release for Meadow Point
- A $289,790 bond release for Sunrise Acres
- A resolution to allow the parks and recreation department to apply for a Butler County Parks Renovation/Development Community Grant
- A resolution to approve elected tax collector commissions
- Tabling approval of quarterly library contributions.
Mars Area School Board approved a number of items Tuesday night during a virtual meeting, including:- The resignation of Jina Coleman as special education secretary- Tabling approval of posting a revised edition of Policy 246 (school wellness)- Appraisal services not to exceed $16,500 through Niklas King McConahy Real Estate Appraisers and Consultants, as part of the Route 228 project- A revised contract with HRG Engineering & Related Services for the middle school entrance- Maria Staresinic as an assistant volunteer judge for the online forensics tournament- Two unnamed students missing more than 10 days of school- An unnamed student to participate in Mars Area Cyber Academy- Job descriptions for business manager and administrative assistant positions- The board held executive sessions Feb. 4 and on Tuesday before and after the meeting, legal and personnel discussions.
