June A. Golojuh
June A. Golojuh, 85, of Cabot passed away peacefully Jan. 6, 2021, in her home with family by her side.
Her unbelievable strength and determination were incredibly amazing. Unable to sit for 10 months due to cancer and a radiation wound, June's focus on her four grandchildren gave her the drive to fight and live. She became a role model to many because of her strength, courage and faith.
June was always thinking and doing for others before herself.
Born June 17, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Edna (Jahnig) Wetzel. She was the youngest of 11 children.
June was a 1953 graduate of Winfield-Clinton High School.
June worked at Du-Co Ceramics for 12 years as a sample inspector. She then was a homemaker, while raising her three children and helping on their farm.
She enjoyed gardening, canning, baking and bowling. Her biggest joy was spending time with her family and attending activities of the grandchildren.
She was a member of Buffalo Presbyterian Church for 70 years. She faithfully attended and enjoyed Sunday school, and the Presbyterian Women Program held at the church.
Her husband of 59 years, Nicholas, passed away Feb. 20, 2020. They were married Oct. 12, 1960.
