A group of Slippery Rock University students is inviting Butler Township residents to participate in a remote focus group to gather opinions on recreational opportunities and other topics.

The students are working with the township to implement new and update current recreational activities in the township. The focus group begins at 6:30 p.m. Monday and will last up to an hour. The students are looking for six to 12 people from 20 to 60 years old to participate.

The questions the focus group will be asked include:

- Which recreational activities are you looking to see implemented in the township of Butler?

- How could the addition of more recreational activities positively affect the township of Butler and its parks?

- What are the best social media platforms to stay connected with local residents?
