HARRISVILLE — The Harrisville Volunteer Fire Department is hosting a food drive to benefit the Feed My Sheep program that services Harrisville Borough and Mercer Township residents in need of assistance with purchasing groceries and other items.

Drop-off locations are: Penn Gold Ice Cream, Dollar General, Harrisville Fire Department, Harrisville Borough Building, Mercer County State Bank and Henry’s Meat Market all of Harrisville.

Monetary donations are always being accepted and can be made out to Feed My Sheep and mailed to 324 North Main St., Slippery Rock PA 16057.

Some items requested by Feed My Sheep are: brownies mix, condiments of any sort, pet foods, laundry detergent and chunky soups.

But Feed My Sheep will accept any nonperishable unexpired foods, as well as items listed above.
