Hugh A. Shearer

Hugh A. Shearer, 82, of Cabot, passed away on Jan. 6, 2021, at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.

Born June 23, 1938, in New Kensington, he was the son of Jesse C. Shearer and Eleanor Duff Shearer.

Hugh was a lifetime dairy farmer and drove a school bus for W.L. Roenigk.

He enjoyed visiting with family and friends. He loved watching the Steelers play, and he loved all animals, but especially his Sheltie dogs.

Surviving are two daughters, Melissa (Robert) Phillips of Cabot and Lynn (Kevin) Bullman of Butler; his brother, Donald (Shirley) Shearer of Pittsburgh; and one grandson, Daniel Bullman of Boston, Mass.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Helenski Shearer, who passed away Oct. 24, 2019; his sister, Doris Staller; and one brother, Robert Shearer.

SHEARER — Friends of Hugh A. Shearer, who died Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2021, will be received from 10 a.m. until noon Saturday at Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.

Services will follow at noon Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jack Hartman officiating.

Interment will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park.
