Dolores Kelly

Dolores Janet “Lory” Kelly, 61, of Slippery Rock, passed away at the home of her sister in Butler on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2021.

She was born on Sept. 15, 1959, to George E. Eck and Anne Coll Eck.

She was a nurse’s aide and had worked for more than 15 years at Sunnyview Home in Butler.

Dolores had attended St. Peter Catholic Church in Slippery Rock.

She enjoyed travel and taking road trips with her sons. She also enjoyed going to the Farm Show, horseback riding, hunting and fishing, and photography. She had many special memories growing up, spending time with her cousins.

Survivors include her sons, Burton Franklin Kelly III and Timothy William Kelly, both of Slippery Rock; the boys’ father, Burton F. Kelly II of Slippery Rock; a sister, Molly (Paul) Sybert of Butler; and 27 first cousins.

Dolores was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Margaret Meeder; and two brothers, George Eck and Thomas Eck.

KELLY — There will be a memorial Mass sometime in the near future for Dolores Janet “Lory” Kelly, who died Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2021, at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, South Main Street, Slippery Rock.

Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Slippery Rock.

Interment will follow at Prairie Cemetery, Harrisville.
