Gloria King
Gloria “Faye” King, 85, of Saxonburg passed away Thursday, Dec. 31, 2020, at the Orchards of Saxonburg.
She was born May 12, 1935, in Prospect, the daughter of the late Howard Merle and Helen (Barnhart) McKinnis.
Faye was a past member of Homeacre Chapel and the Butler Community Alliance Church.
She was a homemaker and in a women’s bowling league for many years, and enjoyed traveling.
Surviving are her two sons, Jeffrey B. (Carol) King of Knoxville, Tenn., and Leonard (Connie) King of Butler; five grandchildren, Christopher (Melanie) Coyle of Butler, Dawn (Matt) Davis of Bessemer, Brian (Lydia) King, Lorie Beth King and Heather (Bobby) Losek, all of Knoxville, Tenn.; seven great- grandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; one stepgreat-great-grandchild; and two sisters, Bonnie (Crawford) Bolten and Edna Mae Knauer, both of Butler.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. King, who passed away on Dec. 11, 2009; a daughter, Marcia J. King; a son, Brian Scott King; five sisters; and a brother.
KING — A memorial service for Gloria “Faye” King, who died Thursday, Dec. 31, 2020, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021, at Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, with Pastor Dave Fisher officiating.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, please wear a mask and social distance.
Private interment will be in Butler County Memorial Park.
