Rita B. Evans

Rita B. Evans, 86, of Valencia, Middlesex Township, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 31, 2020, at Concordia of Cabot.

Born June 16, 1934, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Gertrude White Burns.

Rita had been an administrative assistant for Bell Telephone.

She was a member of Holy Sepulcher Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Karen Evans of Saxonburg; two sons, Gregory Evans (Rebecca) of Spring Mills, and James “Hap” Evans (Andrea) of Middlesex Township.

She was the grandmother of Amanda Becker (Rusty), Jenna Grife (Steve), Dylan Evans, Matthew Evans (Katherine), Rachel Evans (Boniface), and Kevin, Shawn and Michael Bell; and the great-grandmother of Declan James and Soumayah.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Evans, whom she married on May 23, 1977, and who died on Aug. 23, 2013; and by a sister, Dorothy.

EVANS — Arrangements for Rita B. Evans, who died Thursday, Dec. 31, 2020, are private and are under the direction of McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.

Entombment will be in the mausoleum at Holy Savior Cemetery, Richland Township.
