Thomas Oscar Kamerer Sr., 87, of Butler, passed away Friday, Jan. 1, 2021, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born April 7, 1933, in East Brady, he was the son to the late David Edward and Bertha Rose (Bowser) Kamerer.

Thomas worked as a bartender and a truck driver for many years.

Surviving are a daughter, Brenda Maire of Butler; a son, Thomas O. Kamerer Jr., Butler; three grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren; one sister, Ida “Peg” Smith, Butler.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Dorothy Susan (Smith) Kamerer, who died in 2007.
