Patricia Hart
Patricia “Pat, Patty, Portia” A. Hart went home to Jesus on Thursday, Dec. 31, 2020, at the age of 84. Gone but not forgotten, forever in our hearts.
Born July 9, 1936, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Jeannette and William Slayton. Sister to the late Joyce Heard.
She is now at peace in Heaven and returned to the arms of her loving late husband, Warren Hart, whom she loved with all her heart.
Pat was a pioneer on many fronts, becoming one of the first women working in sales, achieving top-ranking numbers in her field, a counsel woman in Allegheny County, a teacher to the community for use of appliances, Sunday school teacher and volunteer social activities director at St. John’s nursing home. She had a way of making others feel special, lit up a room with her fun spirit, and would dance her way right into your heart. She was creative in many ways, even writing and producing plays for all to enjoy. She was a selfless and truly unique soul. Whether you met her for a moment, day or years, her impact was everlasting. Her strength and perseverance continue to amaze and encourage others.
With all of her accomplishments, she was most proud of the family she built, and made sure they and everyone knew that.
“Pat your heart and you will never forget me,” was something she would say to those she met, no words could be truer. Our mom lived her life with courage, strength, compassion and offered an abundance of unconditional love that has, and continues, to touch the lives of everyone she has met. She will forever be remembered as a devoted and loving mother, wife, daughter, Grandma Hart, and friend to many.
She is survived by her children, Jim Murray, of Normangee, Texas, Kym Auther, and late husband Jeff of Butler, Bill Hart, and wife Joy of Fombell, Keith Hart, and wife Joanne of Gibsonia, Dean Hart and Danielle Fair of Indiana, Pa., and Sheri Makepeace, and husband Bill of Evans City; grandchildren, Richard Auther and wife, Lisa, Jessica Malovich, and husband, Dave, Jimmy Murray, Lacey Seele and husband, Nathan, Nash Murray, and wife, Meagan, Slayton Murray, Evan Hart, Kayla Hart, Caroline Hart, Caleb Fortwangler, Karli Hart, Tyler Fair, Dean Hart, Alicia Franzen, and husband Joey, Alivia Kirzan and husband, Tyler, Emily Makepeace, Billy Makepeace and Sara Makepeace; great-grandchildren, Carson Murray, Kinsley and Camden Seele, Payton and McCamey Murray, Jordan, Jack, and JJ Auther, DJ, Dana, Donavan, and Ana Malovich; great great-grandchildren, Autumn, Yuri and Rowan Malovich, Evie, Oliver and soon to be born baby Franzen, Lilliana and Wyatt Krizan.
