Carol Cartwright

Carol Ann Householder Cartwright, 85, of Callery, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 3, 2021, while under the care of Sunnyview Rehabilitation and Nursing Home.

Born Aug. 17, 1935, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late LaRoy and Frances McCloskey Householder.

Carol was a member of the Crestview United Presbyterian Church. She was formerly a member of the Evans City and Mars VFW, the Moose Lodge, AARP, Callery Woman’s Auxiliary Fire Department, and the Evans City Senior Center.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, James E. McMaster and his wife, Monica, of Callery, Deborah L. Klingenberg of Michigan, and Sherry L. Purvis of Slippery Rock; her six grandchildren, Heather, Jerry, Michael, Steven, Chad, and Jessica; and her 10 great- grandchildren, Harlee, Hailee, Lexis, Josh, Carter, Bryson, Everly, Rosie, Kennedi, and Daisy.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Elgin “Red” Cartwright, whom she married on Aug. 26, 1966, and who passed away on Nov. 22, 1988; a sister, a son-in-law, and a son.

Cartwright — Friends of Carol Ann Householder Cartwright, who died Sunday, Jan. 3, 2021, will be received from 12 p.m. until the time of the service at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, at Boylan Funeral Home, 116 E. Main St., Evans City.

Carol will be laid to rest at Butler County Memorial Park.
