Eileen C. Elliott

Eileen C. (Siesel) Elliott, 81, residing in Sandusky, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020, at the Commons of Providence Memory Care Center after a lengthy illness.

Born on Aug. 19, 1939, in Bellevue, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Rose (Roth) Siesel.

Eileen graduated from Bellevue High School, and worked for Industrial Nut Corp. in Sandusky.

She was married to Jim Elliott on Oct. 11, 1958.

Family, faith and friendship defined her life. She really enjoyed spending time with family, which was so important to her. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband, Jim.

Eileen was very involved in the lives of her sons as they grew up, and continued to support them in all their endeavors. She loved being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, attending their various activities. She was also fortunate to have many friends who were very special to her. She cherished these friendships. Eileen will be dearly missed.

Left to cherish her memory are her three sons, Michael, John and Kevin; her daughters-in-law, Tammy (Mike), Christine (John) and Cheryl (Kevin); her sister, Carolyn O’Leary; her brother, Gerald Siesel; her sister-in-law, Sue Siesel; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Eileen was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Jim; and her grandsons, Jacob and Shawn.

The family would like to thank the staff at Commons of Providence Memory Care Center, for their love, care and concern.

Elliot — A private Mass of Christian burial for Eileen C. (Siesel) Elliott, who died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020, will be celebrated by the family with burial following in Milan Cemetery.

A celebration of her life will be planned for a later date when it is safe for family and friends to gather.

Arrangements are under the direction of Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, Sandusky, Ohio.
