Ronald L. Barton

Ronald L. Barton, 74, of Clinton Township, passed away Sunday, Dec. 20, 2020, in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family.

Born Dec. 31, 1945, in Bedford, he was the son of the late Joseph Barton and Stella Long Barton.

Ron proudly served as an airman first class in the U.S. Air Force from 1963 to 1967.

He was an owner/operator for Parks United Van Lines for more than 20 years. He loved working on vehicles and driving tractor-trailers.

Above all, Ron was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

He leaves behind, to cherish his memory, his wife of 56 years, Charlotte Greenwood Barton, whom he married June 6, 1964; his sons, Ronald (Kim) Barton of Georgia and Anthony Barton (Jodie) of Saxonburg; his grandchildren, Lacy (Drew) and Anthony; his great-granddaughter, Sophia; his brother, Dennis (Cindy) Barton of Port Clinton, Ohio; and his sister, Jo Ann of Chambersburg, Pa.

In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Morrill and his grandson, Richard Morrill.

BARTON — Friends of Ronald L. Barton, who died Sunday, Dec. 20, 2020, will be received from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. and from 4 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 6 p.m. Monday at Boylan Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Connoquenessing Township, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.
