Marjorie E. Gifford, 94, of Cranberry Township passed away Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020, in the comfort of her home.

Born Jan. 27, 1926, in Coraopolis, she was the daughter of the late Alvin and Helen Krull Scott.

Marjorie was a member of St. Ferdinand Catholic Church in Cranberry Township.

She enjoyed assisting the residents at Sherwood Oaks in Cranberry Township. She also loved to go out to lunches and restaurants with her friends and family. Above all, she adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was the wife of the late Bruce E. Gifford; mother of Clyde Gifford of Cranberry Township, George (Lydia) Gifford of Springfield, Va., Leslie (Jerry) Rassmausen of Mukwonago, Wis., Phyllis Mitchell of Scottdale, Pa., and Scott Gifford of Cranberry Township; grandmother of Adrienne Gifford, Michael Gifford, Kindra Sullivan, Christopher Roberts, Jayson Schmitz, Darcy Rose, the late Amanda Mitchell, Danielle Gifford and Ryan Gifford; great-grandmother of nine; and sister of Nichole Bluford of Punta Gorda, Fla.

GIFFORD — The family of Marjorie E. Gifford, who died Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020, will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Boylan-Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church, 2535 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her honor to the American Heart Association, 444 Liberty Ave., Suite 1300, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.
