Keith Cribbs

Keith Cribbs, 62, of Buffalo Township, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Keith was born March 19, 1958, in Natrona Heights, and was a son of the late Betty I. (Noble) and Logan Cribbs Jr.

Keith was a 1976 graduate of Freeport Area High School.

After graduation, Keith took a job with Allegheny Ludlum Steel in Leechburg. He worked at R&P Coal Co. in Shelocta, Pa., and then with Bill Cook Trucking in Sarver. He had spent the last 18 years working as a dispatcher with Landstar Trucking Co.

Keith was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Freeport.

He was a social member of the Sarver VFW.

In his younger years, Keith loved racing motorcycle hare scrambles and GNCC events. He loved animals, especially stray dogs and cats. He loved spending time with his family.

Keith is survived by his wife of 32 years, Sheryl L. (Watterson) Cribbs; five sisters, Sandra (Darryl) Elder of Buffalo Township, Linda (David) Beatty of Grove City, Shirleen Mitchell of Brockway, Beth (Sue Ziegenfus) Cribbs of Buffalo Township, and Leisa (Thomas) Brothers of Buffalo Township; two brothers, Logan L. (Linda) Cribbs of Canonsburg and Terry Cribbs of Valencia; and his great-niece, Kyah Pastoria of Pittsburgh.

He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law, Richard Mitchell.

CRIBBS — Per his request, there will be no public visitation and funeral services will be private for Keith Cribbs, who died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020.

A public celebration of life service will be announced at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of Redmond Funeral Home, Freeport.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Orphans of the Storm, 11878 PA-85, Kittanning, PA 16201.
