Genevieve Patricia Zach passed away from natural causes in her home Monday evening, Dec. 21, 2020, with her family at her side.

She was born March 20, 1925, in the home of her parents, John and Mary (Penar) Otremsky.

She was a lifelong member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church (St. Fidelis).

She attended Lyndora School and Butler High School, graduating in 1943.

Earlier in life, she worked at the Spade Shirt Factory, Kmart, Fisher's Big Wheel, J.C. Penney and many years for the County Board of Elections.She was an avid bowler with the Sunshine Bowling League for many years, and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for St. Stanislaus Church in Lyndora as well as being on the Ladies Auxiliary for the Greenwood Village Volunteer Fire Department.She loved to cook and bake, crochet, knit and sew as well as read novels every evening.She leaves behind two sons, Kenneth (Linda), Thomas aka “Jimmie”; her daughter, Carol (Robert) Godot; her grandchildren, Heather, Jason (Sarah), Ryan (Nicole), Amanda (Garrett) and Travis; her great-grandchildren, Abbigail, Ashlen, Amia-Lina, Adelynn, Avianna, Arrow, Drake, Elias, Jaxson, Jenna, Kirisa, Khloe, Raevin and Tyler; her brothers, Frank of Akron Ohio, John (Theresa) of Norton, Ohio, and Richard (Mary Ann) of Monroeville; a large number of nieces and nephews; and one sister, Marylou Chine of Atlanta, Ga.She was preceded in death by her husband, John, whom she married in November 1951; and her brothers, Mitchell, Stanley, Thaddeus and Edward.ZACH — Private funeral services for Genevieve Patricia Zach, who died Monday, Dec. 21, 2020, will be held for the family.Arrangements were handled by Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E.
