Fordyce Wayland
Fordyce Wayland, 89, of Butler, passed away Thursday, Dec. 17, 2020.
He was born in Summerville on May 7, 1931, to the late Milton and Sue (Yoder) Wayland.
Fordyce served his country honorably in the United States Army from 1952 to 1954. He worked at A & P for almost 30 years and Shop 'n Save for almost 10 years. He also worked at Butler Area School District and PennDOT for numerous years. He loved games, cards and especially shooting pool.Fordyce was the beloved husband of Marlene (Johnson) Wayland for 63 years; father of Wesley (Renee) Wayland of Virginia, Randon Wayland of Butler and Kevin Wayland of Butler. Fordyce is also survived by grandchildren, Justin and Samantha Wayland.He was preceded in death by his four siblings.Wayland — Services for Fordyce Wayland, who died Thursday, Dec. 17, 2020, will be held privately through the SPENCER D.
