Jean E. Gilmore of Grove City passed away Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2020, at Butler Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. She was 92.

Jean was born July 31, 1928, in Grove City, to John L. and Laurene (McFarland) Brenneman.

She married Glenn L. Gilmore on Nov. 2, 1951. He preceded her in death May 26, 2011.

She was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Grove City.

Jean retired from George J. Howe Co. in Grove City, where she worked for over 30 years.

She enjoyed quilting, gardening and working on puzzles.

Survivors include three sons, Terry Gilmore and his wife, Marta, Richard Gilmore and his wife, Cindy, and Brian Gilmore, all of Grove City; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, David L. Gilmore; and two sisters, Virginia Allen and Annabel Filer.

GILMORE — Visitation hours for Jean E. Gilmore, who died Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2020, will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday at Cunningham Funeral Home, 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Barkeyville Cemetery.
