Michael Konieczny
Michael J. Konieczny, 63, of Butler Township passed away on Friday, Dec. 11, 2020, while under the care of The Grove at Harmony.
Born June 30, 1957, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Edward and Roseann Dorsey Konieczny.
Mike enjoyed working for Oberg Industries Tool & Die for 23 years. He was a member of St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church. He also was a member of American Legion Post 778 in Lyndora. In his free time, he loved to golf and enjoyed going to the casino. Above all, he was a loving husband, father, brother and uncle who will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.
To cherish his memory, Mike leaves behind his wife of 41 years, Denise M. Slupe Konieczny, who he married on Nov. 10, 1979; his sons, Justin Konieczny (Katrina) of Butler, and Brandon Konieczny (fiancée, Megan Pakutz) of Pittsburgh; his brothers, Mark Konezny (Marilyn) of Rochester, N.Y., and Matthew Konieczny (Patty) of Butler; his sister, Kathy Bloom (Len) of Saxonburg; his loving aunt, Theresa Dorsey; many nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog, Maddie.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant sister, Reane.
The family would like to offer a special thank you to the wonderful, caring staff and nurses at The Grove at Harmony.
Konieczny — A memorial service for Michael J. Konieczny, who died Friday, Dec. 11, 2020, will be held at a later date.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Boylan Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Connoquenessing Township, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.
