William Ernest “Bill” “Papa” Studebaker Sr.

William Ernest “Bill” “Papa” Studebaker Sr. of Woodstock, Ga., passed away peacefully Thursday, Dec. 3, 2020. He was 79 years old.

Bill was born in Grove City, and was the son of the late George and Ruth (Grine) Studebaker of Worth Township.

Mr. Studebaker proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy.

After retirement from Lockheed Martin Corp., he had more time for his “honey to do list,” and maintenance to his classic cars. Bill enjoyed attending the Studebaker Drivers Club, reading the “Turning Wheels” magazine, and going to car shows. He also enjoyed watching car races and Steelers football.

Bill was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend.

He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Thamri “Audi” Studebaker; his children, Sue “NitNoy” (Todd) Winhoven of Evans, Ga., and William “Billy” Ernest Studebaker Jr. (Idalia) of Acworth, Ga.; his sisters, M. Kay Glenn and Sue (Nick) Passamonte; his grandchildren, Makayla, William, Kale, Malea and Mia; many cousins and nieces; a grandniece; grandnephew; and a wonderful group of extended family and friends.

Bill will be greatly missed.
