So love can be celebrated
When a bride walks down the aisle, all eyes are on her. The wedding guests watch her glide to the end with a big smile and maybe even a tear of joy running down her cheek.
For many couples, this was not the reality of their wedding day. Tears of joy turned into tears of frustration. COVID-19 quickly swept away their dream day and forced cancellations, postponements, and elopements.
However, the hope of celebrating love has not been completely lost. Couples have taken many creative routes to make sure they could still have their special day! Who would have thought that a popular wedding favor would be a customized mask and hand sanitizer?
We have seen the importance of wearing a mask and have heard the statistics behind it, but experiencing the disappointment of a couple who had to cancel their wedding reinforces the importance.
I wear a mask so love can be celebrated. I wear a mask in hopes that guests can someday attend weddings without having to worry about getting sick. I wear a mask to protect myself, my staff, and my couples.
We hope that someday soon this will all be a thing of the past. We hope that couples can share and celebrate their love with friends and family. We hope that couples show their kids their wedding photos and are told they look crazy for having masks on!
So be a part of the solution and wear a mask. Let’s get back to normal so we can gather and enjoy our time with the ones we love.
