Browns win big vs. Giants
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Baker Mayfield completed 27 of 32 passes for 297 yards — finding eight different receivers — in leading the Cleveland Browns to a 20-6 win over the New York Giants Sunday night.
Mayfield tossed 2-yard touchdown passes to Austin Hooper and Jarvis Landry. Nick Chubb scored on a 1-yard run for the Browns (10-4).
Colt McCoy threw for 221 yards for the Giants (5-9), who struggled offensively all night.
Graham Gano booted field goals of 37 and 39 yards for New York, which missed a chance to pull into a first-place tie with Washington in the NFC East.
Cleveland kept its slim AFC North title hopes alive with Sunday’s win. The Steelers can clinch the division title with a win at Cincinnati Monday night.
