A dealer in a Philadelphia-to-Butler drug ring was sentenced to nearly five years in federal prison Thursday.

Ricardo Glenn, 28, formerly of Butler and Philadelphia, received 57 months in prison to be followed by three years of supervised release due to his role in a network that supplied drugs from Philadelphia to Butler over the course of at least two years while he was under court supervision after a 2018 Philadelphia firearm conviction.

Glenn, who was indicted alongside eight other defendants in June, pleaded guilty in July to conspiring to distribute controlled substances. This 57-month sentence is at the low end of the guideline range of 57 to 71 months Assistant U.S. Attorney Craig W. Haller recommended in his Dec. 7 sentencing memorandum.

He was arrested in room 209 of the Holiday Inn Express in Butler, where investigators found and seized nearly $7,500 in “drug-trafficking proceeds.”
