PITTSBURGH — Steelers inside linebacker Vince Williams was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Thursday.

Williams was also on the list earlier this season.

Williams will likely miss Sunday night’s showdown against the Buffalo Bills and creates an even bigger depth problem at linebacker for Pittsburgh.

The Steelers are already without Devin Bush, Bud Dupree, Ulysees Gilbert III and Robert Spillane.

Pittsburgh will use both Avery Williamson, acquired from the Jets before the deadline, and converted safety Marcus Allen at inside linebacker Sunday night.
