Kennihan Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning of Valencia has been named the 2020 Medium Contractor of the Year by the National Comfort Institute.

The institute announced the award during its 2020 Virtual High-Performance HVAC Conference on Oct. 7. The award recognizes an HVAC contracting firm’s outstanding achievements in performance-based contracting, quality workmanship and dedication to customer service. Companies in this award category have between $2 million and $6 million in annual sales.

The institute also has small and large contractor awards. Small contractors have annual sales under $2 million and large contractors have annual sales over $6 million.

Kennihan is a 51-year-old residential HVAC family business focused on the service and replacement marketplace.
