Sandra Kay Christofano

Sandra Kay Christofano, 80, of Butler passed from this Earth on Oct. 14, 2020, to her eternal peace.

She was born July 12, 1940, in Butler, and was the only daughter of the late Owen Ellis and Olive Elizabeth (Daubenspeck) Anderson.

She had a special love for all animals, a unique gift for the arts, and enjoyed cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Her passion was genealogy, which she pursued for 30 years and proudly traced her lineage back to the Mayflower.

Sandra leaves behind her daughter, Terri Christofano of Dallas, Texas; two sons, Michael Christofano and John Christofano, both of Butler; four grandchildren, Alexandra Jochmann of Dallas, Texas, and Nicole (Christofano) West, Michael Christofano and Devan Christofano, all of Butler; two great-grandchildren, Marlee West and Myanna West, both of Butler; a daughter-in-law, Maria Christofano; and a niece, Janice Christofano, of Butler.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Carl Francis Christofano, who passed away Feb. 7, 2014; and a son, Philip Christofano, who passed away May 26, 2014.

CHRISTOFANO — There will be no public visitation for Sandra Kay Christofano, who died Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2020.Private services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.Arrangements under the direction of Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E.
