Butler Area Public Library is asking community members to participate in the My Library fundraising campaign.

Contributions will go toward collection materials, building maintenance, equipment, repairs and personnel.

Lori Hinterliter, executive director, said the library staff reinvented several traditional programs during the pandemic to make them more accessible to patrons, including grab-n-go kits, front door pickup, expanded e-resources like Hoopla, virtual story times and the creation of the online Professional Resource Center.

Hinterliter said donations to the library will ensure the continuation of services and programming, both virtually and in person.

Those who donate $100 or more will be eligible for fine forgiveness for one year.
