CRANBERRY TWP — Cranberry Township EMS will celebrate being named the 2020 Pennsylvania Small EMS Agency of the Year with a special virtual event Tuesday.

The honor, presented by the Pennsylvania Department of Health, Bureau of EMS, and the Pennsylvania Emergency Health Services Council, will be officially awarded during a livestreamed ceremony beginning at 7:30 p.m. The event will be shared to the Cranberry Township EMS Facebook page.

Following the ceremony, EMS will broadcast a Facebook Live event unveiling the commemorative banner.

To celebrate Real Kids Wear Pink Day Oct. 23, the American Cancer Society in Pennsylvania is issuing a photo challenge.Show support for those battling breast cancer by wearing pink and encouraging classmates to do the same. Take a photo and post to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram tagging @ACSPennsylvania and #RealKids WearPink in the post.It shows support for those currently battling the disease. Wear pink on Oct. 23 to prove that no one walks alone.
