Saxonburg cancels holiday parade
Saxonburg’s annual holiday parade has fallen victim to state mandates related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event, sponsored by the Saxonburg Area Business Association, was canceled Monday by the borough council, who opted to not hold the event in 2020 due to the pandemic and state-mandated gathering restrictions.
The borough’s annual celebration has occurred for more than 20 years.
