Jacob Mock

Jacob Mock, a Knoch High School senior, received the news on his 18th birthday that he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout.

Jacob, who earned the designation in August, is a member of Boy Scout Troop 53 out of Nixon United Methodist Church in Penn Township.

His Eagle Scout project was to pour a concrete base and erect a 30-foot flagpole at Harcrest Park in the township.

Jacob also built a bike rack and garbage containers at the park.

He is the son of Eric and Robin Mock of Penn Township.
