The state Department of Transportation has scheduled a culvert pipe replacement that had been postponed earlier this month.

Ekastown Road in Buffalo Township will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, near Palko’s Tavern between Obringer Lane and Fleming Road.

To detour, motorists can take Route 228 to Route 356 to Route 28 to the Millerstown exit in Allegheny County to return to Ekastown Road.

PennDOT asks that the public follow social distancing guidelines and avoid contact with construction personnel during the closure and at all road work sites.
