Sept. 1 — Corey P. Colville, 26, of West Sunbury was charged with providing false information on background check forms earlier this year while attempting to buy a firearm Jan. 7 at Logan's Gun Gallery in Washington Township. He is charged with unsworn falsification to authorities, a misdemeanor.Sept. 1 — Police charged Robert E. Lockskin, 25, of Butler with driving under the influence of marijuana and having marijuana stemming from a traffic stop last month in East Butler. He was stopped about 10 a.m. Aug. 6 on East Butler Road.A search of Lockskin's car, according to court documents, turned up two small containers with suspected marijuana wax. Police also allegedly found a marijuana pipe. Documents also noted that it was the sixth time the defendant had been caught for driving under suspension.He is charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, being a habitual offender for driving with a suspended license and possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.Sept. 1 — Mark J. Fetters, 20, of Butler was charged with drugged driving in connection with a July traffic stop in Center Township. Police said a trooper running radar about 7:50 p.m. July 12 initially clocked him going 53 mph in a 35 mph zone on Mercer Road near Blossom Drive.Fetters was eventually pulled over on North Duffy Road before being taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for a blood test, police said. Toxicology results, according to court documents, showed he had marijuana and prescription medication in his system.He is charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, disregarding traffic lanes, failing to use turn signals, careless driving and failing to carry his driver's license.Sept. 1 — Eric D. Berry, 23, of Donegal Township was charged with DUI and having marijuana and two glass smoking pipes stemming from a July welfare check in Petrolia. Police said they found him about 4:20 a.m. July 1 sleeping in a pickup truck with the engine running in a lot on Cross Street.Berry subsequently was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for a blood test, which he refused, according to court documents. In addition to DUI, he is charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
9:47 p.m. Sept. 4 — Jason P. Stephenson, 39, of Butler was allegedly caught with medication without prescription suspected marijuana and other contraband after police saw him driving a pickup truck with expired registration in the area of Fairground Hill Road and Hansen Avenue.Following a traffic stop, according to court documents, he let police search the truck. Police said they found several pills in an unlabeled pill bottle, a small glass jar with suspected marijuana and a syringe.Stephenson is charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license, driving without a license, driving an unregistered vehicle and driving a vehicle without valid inspection.
