Motorists in Winfield Township can expect traffic Wednesday to be reduced to a single lane in the 300 block of Clearfield Road.

The state Department of Transportation announced that crews will replace a failing pipe along that stretch of road.

Flaggers will direct traffic from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

PennDOT expects traffic delays on that section of Clearfield Road during the work, which is expected to take one day.

PennDOT asks that the public follow social distancing guidelines and avoid contact with construction personnel.
