SRU reports slight enrollment increase
Despite challenges resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, Slippery Rock University said fall enrollment of 8,876 is an increase of 70 students, or .8%, over fall 2019.
The increase is due to a record graduate student enrollment of 1,461, which is a 9% increase over last year’s record-setting number. The number of undergraduates, 7,415, represents a slight decrease of 53 students from last year.
The school said enrollment remains stable without any year-to-year decreases of more than 100 undergraduate students in the last six fall semesters.
