Bill allowing district decisions on fall sports spectators heads to Wolf's desk

The state Senate passed legislation Wednesday by a 39 to 11 vote that gives individual school districts the power to decide if — and how many — spectators would be allowed at games, despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

The bill was passed by the state House of Representatives, 155 to 47, last week.

The bill now goes to Gov. Tom Wolf's desk.
