The Signature Sensations event scheduled Nov. 6 to benefit the Jean B. Purvis Community Health Center has been canceled.

The health center canceled the lucrative fundraising event due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The 2018 event raised $60,000 for the health center, which provides free medical and dental care to eligible residents of the Butler County area.

Next year’s Signature Sensations will move forward if conditions allow, said Jim Cunningham, health center spokesman.

That event is planned for Nov. 6, 2021, at the Butler Country Club.
