Ekastown Road closure postponed
The pipe replacement on Ekastown Road in Buffalo Township that was scheduled for Wednesday has been postponed until Sept. 30.
When the project starts, the road will be closed to all vehicular traffic from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for the unknown duration of the project.
PennDOT will replace a failing pipe on Ekastown Road near Palko’s Tavern between Obringer Lane and Fleming Road.
To detour, motorists can take Route 228 to Route 356 to Route 28 to the Millerstown Exit to Route 908, where they can get back on Ekastown Road.
