Productive Day: Butler bodybuilding team gets 24 awards
Team Elite, a 13-member bodybuilding unit from Harlan's Elite Fitness in Butler, combined to earn 24 awards at the NPC Elite Physique Championships Saturday at the Tanglewood Center.
The team claimed six first-place awards.
Keith Gary took first in True Novice Men's Physique and Open Men's Physique Class C. Nick Henry took first in True Novice lightweight and Open Men's Bodybuilding Middleweight.
Laci Horvath took first place in Figure Open Class B while Christine Mong was first in Novice Bikini.
Six of the 13 competitors were participating in their first show.
Other awards included:
- Ben Cardone, 2nd in Men's Open Physique Class B
- James Conklin, 2nd in True Novice Men's Bodybuilding Light heavyweight, 3rd in Open Men's Bodybuilding Lightweight, 4th in Open Men's Classic Physique Class B
- Jacob Dufford, 2nd in Open Men's Bodybuilding Light heavyweight
- Amber Dufford, 3rd in Open Women's Bodybuilding, 6th in Open Women's Physique
- Judy Kiser, 4th in Open Women's Bodybuilding, 3rd in Women's Physique Over 35
- Kris Pierce, 2nd in Open Women's Bodybuilding, 4th in Open Women's Physique
- Kailin Keegan, 4th in Figure Novice Class A, 5th in Figure Open Class A
- Christine Mong, 2nd in Open Bikini Class C, 3rd in Bikini over 50
- Katie Kent, 3rd in Open Bikini, 2nd in Bikini over 35
- Hannah Wilson, 5th in Wellness Open.
