Oneida Valley Volunteer Fire Department firefighters direct traffic on Chicora Road follow a motorcycle crash Friday afternoon that sent a man to the hospital.

A man riding a motorcycle hit a guard rail on Chicora Road in Oakland Township, according to eye witnesses.

The crash occurred around 1:30 p.m. Friday near 743 Chicora Road.

According to state police, the man was taken to the hospital by ambulance for serious injuries.

Oneida Valley Volunteer Fire Department is blocking off Chicora Road from Shearer Road to Seven Hills Road while Pennsylvania State Police investigate the crash.
