JEFFERSON TWP — HIS Kids Christian School, located at 650 Saxonburg Road, in partnership with the Sylvania Foundation, will have an astronomy night beginning at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Viewers hope to see the Perseid meteor shower.

It will also be a chance for students to meet their teachers at the Sylvania property at 317 Mack Road in West Sunbury.

The Sylvania Foundation has built a “Bee Condo” that is dedicated to HIS Kids Christian School. A group of staff, parents and children from the school recently were at the property to help plant clover for the bees and to clear walking trails. They also assembled bird houses to use on the property.
