Tribe sweeps Bucs in exhibition play
PITTSBURGH — Josh Bell hit a two-run homer and doubled, but the Pittsburgh Pirates dropped a 5-3 decision to Cleveland in exhibition play Wednesday night at PNC Park.
Jarrod Dyson added a run-scoring hit for the Pirates, who were swept in their three-game preseason series with the Indians.
Derek Holland allowed two runs and five hits in three innings. Kyle Crick struck out the side in his lone inning of work, but surrendered a home run to Jose Ramirez.
