COVID-19 UPDATE 6/17: Reported Sunday death added to county death toll

Butler County has not added any new cases to its COVID-19 total, according to state data.

However, the Pennsylvania Department of Health's report Wednesday added Sunday's reported death to the county's death toll, which now stands at 13. The toll had remained unchanged for four weeks.

Gov. Tom Wolf and Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine are expected to conduct a news conference at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday to give an update on the pandemic and offer further information about how people should continue protecting themselves.

The following numbers on the coronavirus pandemic were compiled from the regular news releases from the Department of Health and Butler Health Systems.
